LESSON OPTIONS AVAILABLE

One-on-One Individual Instruction

Our teaching "style" is primarily the universally preferred "one-on-one" instruction.  This method allows the teacher to effectively address the student's specific strengths and/or weaknesses in both their musical and technical development in a composition and the instrument.

Performance Classes

In addition to one-on-one lessons, performance classes are conducted periodically in a group environment as students prepare for competitions and festivals.

Chamber Music Coaching

The term "Chamber Music" refers to any composition that has more than one performer.  Given our extensive experience, we are very comfortable coaching any work involving other instrumentalists who are not necessarily students in the Conservatory.  So we invite interested parties to contact us to receive some additional insights into the performance aspects of these wonderful compositions.

Skype/Facetime Lessons

Attending private lessons at the Conservatory is the most preferred method for piano study.  Having access to our studio's resources (exceptional instruments, music library, etc.) is advantageous for a student's overall progress .  However, in the event it is not convenient to travel to our studio (if you live in North Carolina or California, for example), it is still possible to work with our faculty via a Skype or Facetime lesson.

In this way, lessons can be:
     1)
Scheduled as a "live" interactive one-on-one session -- but through a video screen.
     2)
Another option is to submit your performance to one of the Conservatory faculty via a video recording.   The "response" lesson can arranged in one of two ways:
          a) through a "live" interactive one-on-one session, or
          b) through a video lesson -- returned back to you a separate uploaded video file.

Master Class or Master Lesson

Are you a teacher who is interested in helping students prepare for their performance at a competitive event?  Or, do you want to become more comfortable working through new repertoire?  Don't hesitate to schedule a single master lesson with one of our faculty to work with you and/or your student(s).  Having another set of ears to discuss an interpretation or approach to a piece can boost one's confidence and understanding of a composition immeasurably.

We look forward to hearing from you . . .
